Minktoberfest brings trappers together for three full days of learning, sharing knowledge, and building friendships.

Whether you're looking to sharpen your skills, learn a new species, or spend time with people who share your passion for trapping, Minktoberfest is built around one idea: everyone has something to learn, and everyone has something to share.

What to Expect

• Hands-on demonstrations covering the entire process—from making the catch to skinning, fur handling, and putting up fur.

• Multiple species including mink, beaver, fisher, canines, bobcat, weasel, raccoon, skunk, opossum, and more.

• Speed demonstrations with experienced trappers showing their methods in action.

• Roundtable discussions where everyone has an opportunity to ask questions, exchange ideas, and dig deeper.

• Three meals a day included with your registration.

• Evening gatherings to swap stories, talk trapping, and spend time with the community.

• Minktoberfest gift exchange - bring something you'd be happy to receive yourself. There's no required dollar amount.

• Official Minktoberfest T-shirt included with registration.

Programming begins around 7:00 AM each morning and continues throughout the day, followed by evening gatherings.
